I have decided to implement more fruits and veggies in my diet. I do not want to wait til I have a health problem to start eating healthy. I am 23 years old. I am a mother to one and a wife. I need all my energy. During my pregnancy I learned how important my body was to my baby boy. Whatever I ate affected him. It was through the constant prenatal vitamins and constant checkups that I realized how crucial my health was. I am so thankful that I had a smooth pregnancy and my health was well. My baby boy was born healthy too. I did not want to go back to the eating patterns I had before. I decided to make a lifestyle change to sustain my good health. Also, if in the future me and my husband decide to have another baby my body, mind and spirit will be ready to take that journey. I AM GOOD RIGHT NOW. MY SON IS ENOUGH!
I enjoy drinking smoothies but at times it get bored and tired of them. I decided to do something different today. I blended some pears with fresh water and placed it in the fridge to get cold. I guess it’s homemade pear juice. I then separated my avocado on my plate and ate them as they were. It was actually tasty. I also, took my time to taste my food. Instead of rushing trying to finish getting the veggies in my system. I am good and satisfied with my breakfast today. I plan on looking up new ways to make smoothies. Also, different meals that I can eat in the morning. In the words of my granddaddy “YOU HAVE TO GET THE GOOD STUFF IN FIRST”!
